Wild Turkeys

This past week I saw some wild turkeys in the field, so I ran in the house and got everyone to come out and see them. There were two hens, a never ending amount of babies, and a gobbler. We took quite a few of pictures with our camera. After a while Julia and I went in, but Angela and Hannah snuck along behind the turkeys for a long time taking pictures. To bad it wasn't turkey season! :)

Pancake Puffs

These rather puffy Oven Pancakes are the product of Angela's search on the Internet for
pancake recipes. Once in awhile she searches for recipes on the computer. Her other more recent search was for sourdough recipes. She made some biscuits (NOT to my taste) and bread. These Oven Pancakes had six eggs in them to fluff them up. I think the eggs did a good job!

Serena Has Such an Imagination!

And she uses it for everything! Tonight it was just us kids eating supper so we had pancakes and vegetables and dip. Before eating her supper this is what she made:
Before coming up with this she made a "sleigh"(with carrots and celery) with a dead "Monk" on it (made of celery and a tomato). The monk had frozen to death in the "Canadian Alps." After that she tried to make Stone Henge but the carrot wouldn't stay on top of the celery.

Last week when got home from OIHA Camp we found that our cat had had her kittens. Two of them had died, but the other three were fine. There are two black and one gray. They all had little white bibs on their necks.
Here are a couple of pictures of them:

If anyone is interested in a kitten let us know!

OIHA Camp

On July 3-8 our family attended the OIHA camp (Ontario Interdenominational Holiness Association). We go to this camp every year and out of all the camp meetings we go to, this one is definitely our favorite. Here are some pictures:

I love this picture! It looks like Julia Stetler is going to whack Carolyn over the head with her water bottle. Actually she was trying to get over there before Carolyn kicked the soccer ball in the goal.

This is Julia sitting on the washer in the laundry room to keep it from shaking.
She looks so thrilled to have her picture taken.
This was the bonfire for the youth on Wednesday night. That's Esther Byer on the bench.
There where 7 violins and a viola at camp this year! It was a lot of fun.

Here are the kids singing their songs from the children's services.

The Youth Group.

Some of the girls singing "Meatball Stew" on Talent Night.

Bro. Stetler singing and playing the "Wiggle Worm."

Joel Byer selling Acme Pencils

This skit was hilarious. It was called "Morning in Everyday Life."

What IS the Point of Blogging?

I suppose the point of blogging would be to post, so I tried to find one to put on. How's this one?
