Tonight everyone but Daddy went to Welcome Night at Penn View. It was out in front of the dining hall this year but because we went thinking it was in the tabernacle, we didn't take any chairs and therefore had to sit on the ground. During the service I learned something about Penn View; the grass (or weeds) that they grow on that hill are very, VERY, hard to sit on for an hour! I guess I shouldn't complain. Mommy sat on the ground too and she didn't complain. She's almost 51 too! She will be so happy that I told you that. Anyways..... David Wise told his life story (it was very interesting, you all should have been there), and of course we heard the Praise Singers Quartet. After the service there was a bonfire and a volleyball tournament. I enjoyed a hot dog and all the things that go along with them and bonfires: toasted eyebrows, a face that feels like shoe leather, etc.. I played volleyball on a, well, not-so-great-but-not-that-bad team. On our last game we only had five players but I was able to get Joel to come help us (very difficult to do when a certain someone is around :).
Well, it's getting late, or maybe it's early, but either way it's past my bedtime and time to say Good Night (or Morning ,whichever you prefer).
